Hello 7th grade parents and students,



You are invited to attend the Zoom trip information meeting about the 2023 Annual 8th Grade Trip to Washington D.C. & Williamsburg scheduled the week of June 2, 2023. (*Please note, this is not a district sponsored event)



I am very excited to lead this trip again and I can’t wait to tell you all about this incredible experience.

Open House will be in person this year on March 31st, from 5pm-6:45pm. Click headline to view flier.

Students can purchase a ticket for the March 18th Color Run at the ASB Student Store NOW for $5! The ticket includes a free Color Run shirt, Kona Ice, and a ton of fun, messy activities, and more! The Color Run is after school on 3/18 from 2:40pm - 4pm on 3/18. Students don't want to miss out on this unforgettable event!

Distribution of Lost & Found items will be held in the quad during lunch on Wednesday, March 16th. Any uncollected items will be donated to charity at the end of the day.

Please click the headline for the Spring application. Applications are open to both 7th and 8th graders. If you were a member in the Fall, you still need to reapply to be a member this semester. Students will need to retrieve their Q1 and Q2 grades to complete the application. Applications are due on Friday, February 11th at 3PM. No exceptions.

Students: If you are interested in learning about the Digital Media Arts and Entertainment Career Pathway Program and the opportunities that are available with Art, Video Production, Animation, Making Movies/Videos and Taking Photos please sign up with the link (click headline above).

All families are invited to attend our PAC Meeting and Family Resource Program Technology Night workshop. It will be online via Zoom from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. You will learn about the free and valuable electronic resources that our school provides such as:
* Tech Tips for helping your student Succeed
* How to use our school’s online databases and ebooks for homework
* Fun and educational online and offline activities you can do at home with your entire family

Principal Marcus Garrett will also share the latest Sierra Vista JHS news and school safety information.

Homework club for the last week of the quarter will be on Monday and Wednesday only from 2:40-3:40pm. There will be no Homework Club on Thursday, December 16th.
