Hello! This will be my 15th year teaching at Sierra Vista, although my history with this institution goes back much further than that. In ancient times (1990's) I attended classes here just as 7th and 8th graders do today.
I teach 7th grade World History as well as a Video Production elective course from time to time. I received my bachelor's degree and credentialing through Cal State Northridge. I'm married to a fellow teacher here at Sierra Vista, the wonderful Diana de la Cruz. We have two children, Adelyn and Vincent. I love basketball and baseball and played both at Valencia High school as a student. I'm passionate about music, books, film, and of course, video games.
One of my heroes is Henry David Thoreau:
“I learned this, at least, by my experiment: that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.”
