As a Santa Clarita native it is an honor and joy to be teaching where I grew up. I was a Viking at Valley View Elementary, a Lobo at La Mesa Junior High, and a Cowboy at Canyon High. Although I didn't attend Sierra Vista as a student, I feel as though I am back home. I have been teaching in the Hart district for 6 years now and this is my 5th year as a Plainsman!
Sports are my passion and I feel privileged to be able to share that passion with my students. I couldn't imagine doing anything else. Some of my favorite sports are basketball and softball. I actually played softball all four years in college at Rider University where I received my B.S. My other hobbies include hiking, biking, camping, and pretty much anything where I get to be outside and active.
I love all kinds of music but my favorite artist has to be JT (Justin Timberlake of Course)! When music is playing in the fitness center for a workout my students can always count on at least one song from him :)
The last thing you should know about me is that I LOVE to travel. I recently returned from a trip to Australia where I got to take a picture with a Koala! Next summer my husband and I hope to take a trip to Greece.
