Ostrom's Information
I am a former SV student and a long time Canyon Country resident. I attended UCLA and received a degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics with a minor in Psychology. I have a masters in Education and another in School Counseling. I have been teaching Science at Sierra Vista for 18 years.
I am an avid horse rider, hiker, naturalist, and world traveler. My free time is spent working with my animals, making crafts, cooking, and 'living life'. I find that science comes alive for me when I can relate it to the things I like. I enjoy linking my own hobbies and interests to my science classes, especially cooking and pioneer science.
